前陣子剛回台灣, 一直覺得我房間的牆壁太空曠,

I always felt that the wall in my room is too empty after I back to TW.

原想把旅行的照片洗出來貼在牆壁上, 但是不知道哪蹦出來的想法.

I was planning to print out some of the pics from my travel ex and put them on the wall.

就想要找一個世界地圖當底, 照片/明信片當襯來裝飾我的牆.

But then, suddenly an idea jumped out from my mind, "What if I use a World Map as background and place the pics/postcard as deco?!"

所以我就在露天拍賣網站上面找到唯一有世界地圖的創作家FishWei

So I searched for a day and finally found there is a World Map Wall Paper maker, FishWei.

通了email之後我看到它有粉絲專頁(https://www.facebook.com/makemap/)就點進去看

After contacted him via email, I found that he's got a FB fans page so I checked it out.

有很多寶可以挖一下, 包括Icon阿~黏貼技巧阿~設計阿~等等!

There are some tips that you can get, including illustration Icons, Skills when pasting wallpaper, Designs..etc.

紀錄如下:

Record:

4月8日跟賣方詢問, 收到報價單, (小魚email: fishwei1208@gmail.com, 請自行連絡齁)

April8th, contacted via email and got the quotaiton form.

4月9日確認最終圖稿與330*149公分的尺寸

April9th, confirmed final drawing and size (330*149cm).

4月12日完成匯款

April12th, proceeded payment.

4月16日收到包裹

April16th, received the package.

今天4月20日終於有時間動工啦啦啦!!!!

And today, April 20th, I FINALLY GOT TIME TO DO IT!!!

首先, 我參考了說明書上面給的分割建議,

First, I read the suggestions on the instruction to seperate the edges.

然後再稍微縮小邊緣(因為太大有點占位子)

Then I minimized more edges cuz I felt they were taking too much space when placing.

用紙膠帶貼在牆上稍微固定, 目的是想要看一下位置與左右有沒有偏掉.

I used paper tape to fasten them before actually paste it for looking it from afar to see if their positioning good or crooked.

之後媽麻跟我就一個人固定一邊, 一個人開始撕另外一邊,

After confirmed they were all positioned well, mom and me started remove the white paper for putting on transparent cover and black contents.

一塊一塊的先把主要大陸塊貼固定, 再來固定小島嶼(中心點先鎖定的道理)

I started from aside and tear it off little by little. If there are main Continent and small islands, fasten the main Continent FIRST!! (locked the center first).

當然有一些地方真的來不及抓穩就黏上去, 只能慢慢橋回來,

Of course, there are always some small parts stick on too fast that makes us difficult to adjust, so, if you met this, just LET IT GO~let it go~(singing~

如果橋不回來, 就狠心的拿起美工刀把它割一痕讓皺褶部分重疊, (總比凸起來的好)

If there are some folds that can't be recovered, just take out ur Utility Knife and cut it into 2 pieces then overlap them. (trust me, it is not obvious AT ALL!)

結果如下囉!!!

Result comes out!!

最後一步也就是我最初的想法,

Last step is also my the original idea,

就是把我目前蒐集的各國明信片貼在該區域為代表.

which is putting my collected postcard and pic onto certain area.

貼完之後因為有些國家走過忘記寄給自己明信片而深深的懊悔不已...

After I finished... I deeply regret that I didn't send myself a postcard when I was in so many places...which makes some area so blank.

沒錯!! 我貼這個文章的最終目的, 就是...
